If staff members are getting the default filtering, (amazon, staples, etc. are blocked) have the staff member…..

Start à Run à\\fs01\8e6\logon.vbs

You can have them check with the Task Manager to see if authenticat.exe is running with the staff members credentials.

If it is, we need to double check AD and make sure that they are a member of RSD 8e6 Staff Members.

At times, a staff member will try to run the script and it will not work. In those cases, they have changed media (wired to wireless or vice-versa) and the laptop thinks it is offline.

There will be an icon in the system tray that looks like a monitor with an exclamation mark.

Clicking on this will reconnect the laptop with FS01.

The staff member can then run the script and appropriate browsing will resume.
